The Switch project was rated as exemplary and received a prize from 206 applicants and 53 awards in the context of the “Active for Democracy and Tolerance 2008 against Extremism and Violence” competition.

Switch receives 1st prize in the “Children in motion Germany” category. Festive award ceremony in the Maharadjasaal of the Hannover Adventure Zoo. The laudation on Switch was given by Susanne Uhlen .

The initiator of Switch, Hourvash Pourkian, will receive the honorary award for her commitment to the children's project on September 19, 2008 in Hamburg City Hall. Mayor Ole von Beust gave the speech .

On March 7, 2008, Switch received the first prize for German-Turkish public spirit with the “Hamburger Tulpe”, awarded by the Hamburg Körber Foundation.

projects”. Startsocial is under the patronage of Angela Merkel.

Switch wins the 2nd place of the Hamburg Integration Advisory Board, awarded in the Hamburg City Hall.

In 2007 Switch won the “State Prize 2007” for the federal state of Hamburg. Switch wins out of 116 applications for participation in the competition “Participation and integration of migrants through civic engagement”. The award ceremony took place on March 26th, 2007 in the Rotes Rathaus in Berlin.
Goldene Göre 2006 |
On December 8th, 2006, the Switch project won its first award from 110 applications: the second prize of the "Golden
Brat" of the German Children's Fund. The prize is awarded for projects that enable children and young people to participate in shaping their living
environment. The award ceremony was attended by the board of the Kultubrücke Hamburg e. V. together
with two Switch children in the Europapark Rust near Freiburg. The laudation on Switch was given by Lucy from the No Angels.
